Terms And Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all sales of goods and services by Steel Dragon Forge (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order with us, you (“you,” “your,” or “the customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms in full.

1. PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

1.1) All goods produced by Steel Dragon Forge are handmade. As such, slight variations in colour, size, and style may occur.
1.2) We are not responsible for any deterioration of products once they are in your care. This includes but is not limited to damage caused by weather, rust, or improper storage.
1.3) All items are bespoke and made to order. No two items will be identical.

2. PRICING

 2.1) All prices are listed in GBP (£).
2.2) Prices shown at the time of ordering are final and binding.
2.3) Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and depend on the delivery location.
2.4) Taxes may apply depending on your location.

3. PAYMENT

3.1) A minimum deposit of 50% of the total cost, or the full cost of required materials (including third-party expenses), is required before work commences.
3.2) Payment methods accepted: Direct Debit and PayPal. Orders will not be processed until payment is received and confirmed.
3.3) Depending on the length and complexity of the commission, we may require regular monthly payments toward the balance. This schedule will be agreed upon at the time of order confirmation.
3.4) Full ownership of commissioned work remains with Steel Dragon Forge until payment has been received in full. Customers may not use, resell, or claim ownership of unfinished work.

4. Late Payment Policy

 4.1) Payments must be made on or before the agreed-upon due dates.
4.2) If payment is not received within 7 days of a reminder, a £100 charge per week will be applied.
4.3) If payment remains outstanding for more than 30 days, the full remaining balance becomes immediately payable. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your order and/or engage debt recovery services, with additional costs charged to you.
4.4) All payments (including deposits) are non-refundable, even if the commission is suspended or cancelled due to non-payment.

5. Order Processing Times

 5.1) Custom orders vary in processing time depending on complexity. An estimated completion date will be provided at confirmation.
5.2) Ready-made items are dispatched on a case-by-case basis.
5.3) Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. Please see Section 11 (Force Majeure).

6. Shipping & Delivery

6.1) Delivery is available within the UK only. Shipping charges and timelines will be specified at checkout.
6.2) Once shipped, we will provide tracking details. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or events beyond our control.
6.3) Local delivery may be arranged, charged at the cost of fuel per mile.

7. Cancellations

7.1) If custom commissions are cancelled before materials are purchased, no further payments are required; however, deposits are non-refundable.
7.2) If custom commissions are cancelled after materials have been purchased, all deposits and payments made will be retained to cover material and labour costs.
7.3) No refunds are issued for cancellations once production has commenced.

8. Returns

 8.1) Bespoke custom commissions are non-returnable and non-refundable due to the custom nature of the product.
8.2) Ready-made items may be returned within 14 days if unused, in their original condition, and packaging. You are responsible for return shipping costs.

9 . WARRANTY AND REPAIRS (CUSTOM ORDERS)

9.1) Warranty coverage:

  • Installed pieces (fences, gates, railings): 12 months
  • Medium items (tools, fire tools, etc.): 30 days
  • Small items (ornaments, bottle openers, etc.): 30 days

 9.2) Covered: forging flaws, faulty welds.
9.3)Not covered: normal wear and tear, rust, misuse, improper care, finishes (unless guaranteed by a third party), or modifications made after delivery.
9.4) Warranty claims must be submitted within the warranty period with proof of purchase and photographic evidence.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits or revenue) arising from the use of our products. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

11. FORCE MAJEURE

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, war, strikes, equipment breakdown, transport delays, or government actions.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

CONSUMER RIGHTS

Ready-made items: 14-day cooling-off period applies.

Custom/bespoke items: deposits are non-refundable; cancellations permitted within 10 days of order placement, but deposits remain non-refundable.
